Martin Farm and Ranch Store, Edinburg, Texas

Paternal Family - Martin

The Martins of Edinburg have been in Texas for nearly a century but can trace most of our heritage to immigrants who helped colonize the United States with many ancestors who served in the Revolutionary War. Thus far it appears that the Martins are predominantly of English and Irish descent. Whereas the Hagedorn's nee Fitzsimmons are from Ireland, Austria, Denmark and France.

Maternal Family - Rockhill

The Rockhill and Doyle lines have also been in North America for several centuries, migrating down the East coast into Missouri and now Texas. As such there are many ancestors in our family that also fought in the Revolutionary War. We have successfully tracied our roots back to several different countries in Europe including England, Scotland, and Ireland.

Spouse's Paternal Family - Jung

Most of the Jung's ancestors immigrated to Texas from the Prussia region around the mid 1850s. We have successfully traced ancestry to Germany, France, and England for most of our forefathers.

Spouse's Maternal Family - Bendele

Most of the Jung's ancestors immigrated to Texas from the Prussia region around the mid 1850s. We do have a few lines who immigrated from England, Norway, and Canada.
